Acoustic – Envelopes is an exhibition project base on John M. Hull text in ‘On Sight and Insight A Journey into the World of Blindness.’ In his book Hull describe his world as a blind man as
“To rest is not to be. To do is to be… The world of being, the silent, still world where things simply are, that does not exist… The acoustic world is one in which thing pass in and out of existence.”
The exhibition showcase a part of his book describing the sound he encounter from his home to his office. By having the audience make a sound to review the action verb of his text. This allows the audience to understand how action and sound are the world that exist within Hull.
